Responsibilities:Lead all aspects of engineering projects to meet capital plan commitments and maintain key stakeholders aligned and communicatedUse collaboration efforts to design, integration, installation, and support start-up of capital projectsAssist with the implementation of new or improve processes, selection of equipment to purchase and recommendation of optimal machine tooling.Investigate and troubleshoot any issues with processes or equipmentEnsure all project documentation including project plans, status reports, issues, risks, costs, schedules, and quality components are well documented and communicated throughout the lifecycle of projectsManage day to day vendor relations, performance, and project expectations, escalate when necessaryAbility to extract, evaluate, and utilize data for process improvement from applicable systemsValidating Product Feasibility studies and New Process Standards DevelopmentDuties include all phases of Planning and Project management for all Capital ProjectsEducation & Experience Requirements:BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent disciplineMinimum 2 years of experience in manufacturingMinimum 1 year of experience managing engineering related capital projectsSupervisory experience strongly preferredStrong knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPointWHAT WE OFFERAt Abbott, you can have a good job that can grow into a great career.
