GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION: Sales Development Representative
The SDR Team is the backbone of BiasSync’s revenue growth. The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will engage with leads built by BiasSync’s marketing efforts, qualify new business opportunities for the sales team, and ultimately drive new customer acquisition.
The ideal candidate is passionate, driven, entrepreneurial, and strives for excellence in every customer interaction.
TOP CHARACTERISTICS AND TRAITS FOR A SUCCESSFUL SDR:
- Prior lead generation and/or sales prospecting experience
- Proven track record of achieving measurable sales goals in an automated sales environment
- Analytical, detail-driven, and a master multitasker* Exposure to SaaS technology is preferred
- Organized and possess strong time management skills
- Coachable and accepting of feedback with an eagerness to learn and improve
- A thirst for knowledge and growth in a start-up environment
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Initiate contact with prospective clients to determine or enhance prospect’s level of interest in BiasSync offerings
- Distill the essence of our service in easy-to-understand terms and communicate to various prospective clients BiasSync’s value proposition
- Qualify and nurture leads through well-planned and executed efforts with regular communication via phone, email, and text.
- Evaluate prospects against established criteria – route qualified opportunities to the appropriate Sales Executive, communicating relevant information about the opportunity
- Manage and track leads using Salesforce while maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
- Initiating sales cycles with new organizations
- Providing ongoing account support to existing customers assigned by the sales team.
- Responding promptly with accurate answers to clients’ queries
- Communicating product and pricing details clearly
- Collaborating with the sales team to identify new sales leads and develop sales plans
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB:
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience
- Able to connect and quickly build rapport with a diverse group of customers who come from a myriad of different backgrounds
- Determination – we need people who are relentlessly persistent and aren’t afraid of rejection
- Ability to gain trust and persuade people to give you their time
- Strong attention to detail – we have big goals and need people who will ensure that we are accurately tracking our data
- Results-oriented – you are always looking for ways to improve your process or use your time more effectively to overachieve quota
- Strong interpersonal writing skills to accurately explain BiasSync’s value prop
