Job Description:

The Healthcare Clinical Specialist will provide medical operations expertise and support the project team through the strategic facility planning process.

The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of healthcare operations, including ambulatory, acute care, and procedural workflow.

Surgical services operations is a significant advantage.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Evaluate clinical volumes, operational data, and floorplans to derive space utilization and workflow analysis
Evaluate demographic and mapping data and software to assess and project client market situation status
Establish and maintain positive and productive communication relationships with client leadership and staff in complex matrixed organizations
Ability to integrate clinical operations assessments into a gap analysis to address facilities challenges and opportunities
Ability to present and explain formal and informal presentations and written documentation
Skills and Expertise Required:
Proficient in Office365 suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
5-10 years of clinical experience preferred
Working knowledge of lean operational planning tools
Works well in a collaborative team environment
Effective, concise, and courteous written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail
Work will largely be remote with extensive virtual communication and limited time onsite in office and with clients
Education and Experience:
Registered Nurse or other clinical professional preferred
Some travel will likely be required (project dependent)
