Cargo Service Representative/Contract (Entry-Level)

Job Description:

This position will represent Japan Airlines (JAL) in its cargo operations at Los Angeles International Airport by supervising cargo handling company staff to ensure that the loading/unloading of aircraft, customs, documentation, and other cargo handling operations meet all JAL and government regulations, follow correct policies and procedures, and that high quality service is delivered for our international cargo customers.

Minimum Qualifications
Available to work early mornings, weekends and holidays
Ability to work in inclement weather conditions
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
Ability to obtain and maintain SIDA badge with CBP hologram
Must pass US Postal Service background check
Ability to travel for work (domestic & international)
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Proficiency in MS office products such as Outlook, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint
Valid U.S.

driver’s license
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in the air cargo industry preferred
Knowledge of TSA, CBP/AMS regulations preferred
