Test Engineer Level 1
– Orlando, FL Our client is looking for a Test Engineer to join their team in Orlando.
The successful candidate will provide crucial test data for them as they evaluate new and revised products before they go to market.
Job Description: Quantify the performance of our core spectrometer systems, light sources, and fiber optics, evaluating adherence to specifications.
Specifications vary by product, but can include noise across the spectrum or at various points, thermal or temporal drift, dark current, etc.
Use standard testing methods, or (where no standards exist) develop appropriate methods to test key parameters.
Working with engineers across disciplines, build test setups as required.
Skills & Qualifications: 0-3 years of work experience in engineering, preferably focused on instrumentation of some kind; more experienced candidates welcome to apply Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related technical field Prefer they have hardware MATLAB experience.
C#, C++, Python also a plus Needs some sort of textual language.
Analysis and design history is important.
Experience with documenting a process.
