Find your future with us.Airframe Customer Support Engineering, located in sunny Southern California in Seal Beach is seeking Mid-Level Structural Analysis Engineers to join our team and make an immediate impact on both urgent and long-term fleet support.

Primary Responsibilities:Performs detailed structural analysis (static strength, durability/fatigue and damage tolerance) to determine structural integrity (margins of safety), using classical techniques and Boeing tools.

This analysis supports responses to customer inquiries, service bulletin development, failure investigation, regulatory agency coordination and to show compliance with regulatory requirements.Guides structural design and configuration development.Performs trade studies to optimize structure and meet program requirements.Develops, deploys and supports in-house and commercial application software to enable efficient performance of engineering tasks.Researches and prepares data to support definition of structural design requirements.

Boeing Customer Support operates to serve our global customers on a 24/7/365 basis.

While this positions initial work assignment will be on 1st Shift, Boeing reserves the right to later change the work assignment to a non-standard shift (e.G.

afternoon, night time, weekends) to meet its business needs.

Boeing offers rate incentives for these non-standard shifts.

Some travel may be required to support our customers as well as to have learning experiences to enhance your career.

**Relocation is available for those who qualify** This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R.

Basic Qualifications (Required skills and experience):Must currently possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s of Science degree from an accredited course of study in Mechanical, Aeronautical, Civil or Structural Engineering.3 or more years of experience with structural design principles for repair and maintenance (e.G., fatigue, damage tolerance, corrosion, stress analysis, statics, materials strength, material characteristics, repair techniques).3 or more years of experience do you have performing stress analysis using both hand calculations and finite element tools.Willing to support a 24/7 on-call rotation schedule and the ability to work variable shifts, including weekends or overtime.

Qualifications (Desired skills and experience): Experience using NASTRAN and PATRAN finite element modeling softwareExperience working transport category airplane certification or production/fleet support projects involving FAA approval.Experience in aircraft manufacturing fabrication and assembly processes and procedures.Master’s of Science in Mechanical, Civil, or Aerospace engineering preferred.

Typical Education or Experience: Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor’s and 5 or more years’ experience, Master’s degree with 3 or more years’ experience or PhD degree with experience.

Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.

ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
