You will perform picking and loading duties using a forklift.Specific duties may include:Following all applicable safety rules and proceduresReceiving incoming building materials and placing them into inventoryOrganizing and maintaining the warehouse for effective and efficient utilization of available storage space while also ensuring that all products can be quickly retrieved for shipmentPulling ordered material from inventory and staging it for pickups and deliveriesMaintaining all products in a quality and marketable conditionKeeping accurate inventory recordsOperating a forklift safely and efficiently and being able to handle heavy and awkward loadsEstimating the weight of forklift loads so that the delivery vehicles are properly loaded and are not overweightPhysically sorting through various products in order to remove defective materialResponsibilities may include assisting with delivery of materials to customers or jobsites and delivery functions including unloading and staging of product at jobsites as assignedSpecific qualifications include:Ability to be trained and licensed/certified by L Supply to operate forklift equipmentAbility to stand, climb, reach, bend, and twist throughout complete shiftsAbility to lift and carry up to 115 lbs with assistancePrevious warehouse experience is preferredKnowledge in all applicable building material products is preferredBilingual in Spanish/English strongly preferred Benefits may include:Health, dental, and vision coverageEmployer paid life insuranceFlex spending401(k) with generous company matchPaid time offPaid holidaysEqual Opportunity Employer / Drug Free Workplace
