For Victorian based employees, the compliance date is 26 November 2021.All other global Boeing locations do not have a vaccination requirement at this time.Boeing Defense Space and Security is currently looking for a Model Based Engineering Software Focal to join their team.

This position will focus on supporting the Model Based Engineering (MBE) Software effort to create and deploy the MBE SW processes, templates and tool suite to programs across BDS, BCA, BGS, and ETT.

This position will perform a wide variety of Software Engineering functions to support BDS programs ensuring our products meet performance requirements and are delivered to meet market and/or customer needs.

This position helps programs develop software architectures in an MBE environment.

The candidate should have experienced in Software Engineering activities through the life cycle (such as requirements development, SW design, verification planning and testing, etc.).The successful candidate will work in a fast paced and dynamic environment and work both independently and as part of team to support BDS programs start-up and execution.

Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to resolve cross-functional technical issues are also ideal.

The individual will be a self-starter, comfortable with identifying and solving problems, able to understand the big design picture (larger than just MBE), and have good communication skills.Position responsibilities:Create and maintain model based templates for SW designDevelop training for SW MBEDevelop SW lifecycle processes and design practicesIntegrate MBE tools with the rest of the DevSecOps tool chainDeploy SW MBE to new and existing programs Technology areas of this position are:Agile product developmentUML and SysML toolsCode generation tools This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.

A final U.S.

Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
