Responsibilities Review of client books and records, reconcile account balances to supporting schedules, and ability to determine the correctness of accounts and propose/post correcting journal entries and supporting work papers and adjusted trial balance on a US GAAP basis, Investment Company Guide basis and income tax basis Record adjusting journal entries in clients primary general ledger accounting system Assist in preparation of financial statements, footnotes, checklists and necessary support for clients Form 10-K, Forms 10-Q and quarterly earnings release Assist in preparation of non-public companys financial statements, footnotes and necessary support Assist Senior Consultant, Directors and Senior Directors to maintain models in Excel.
(Compute Bond or Loan Yield, Internal Rate of Return, Financial Highlights, Waterfall Model, etc.) Assist in preparation of capital call notices and quarterly investor reporting Oversee, review and coordinate completeness of fund subscription documents Ability to perform basic US GAAP research Assist on special accounting projects Requirements Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting Minimum of 2-5 years working experience (Minimum of 1 year within a public accounting firm) Sound knowledge of GAAP, SEC reporting, a plus Compensation & Benefits $90,000 $120,000 Comprehensive benefits package by Jobble
