Process Engineer General Description: Bridging the gap in our manufacturing processOur process engineers will define, develop, and implement optimal manufacturing and process methodologies to continuously improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance across all stages of the process/product lifecycle.

To bring strong project management experience and process engineering knowledge to bridge the gap between our plant technology and operations functions Capital Project ManagementCoordinate and manage capital projects for equipment and facilities each individually costing up to $5M.

Work with original equipment suppliers and third parties to specify, order and manage the installation and effective running of the equipment.

Act as the subject matter expert on all aspects of the equipment specification and standard operating levels.

Coordinate all the delivery and installation issues to ensure smooth and professional, project management and cost containment within the original budget.

Ensure strong relationships with all suppliers and internal end user managers and employees.??

Required Skills & Experience:A Minimum 5-7 years of high-level process engineering experience in processing, manufacturing, beverage/food production and conversion organization3-5 years of process engineering experience identifying and troubleshooting production problems and taking preventative or correction action.?Demonstrated experience in large scale manufacturing process improvement.Experience in the design of experiments and design for manufacturability.Thorough knowledge of manufacturing industry standards?Strong project management skills with the ability to document sound processes.Highly skilled at software collection and data analysisStrong material science backgroundThe ability to take complex engineering data and recommendations and translate into easy-to-understand process controls and instructions for the operations staff.Leader and team player with strong collaboration skills and the ability to build relationships and influence others, at all levels.

Education:A minimum of a 4-year, university degree in mechanical and/or electrical Engineering.

Broad engineering (Mechatronics) degree preferred.

Education should include all aspects of mechanical and electrical engineering, robotics, computer software and control systems, telecommunications and product engineering.
