Beacon Hill Legal Los Angeles is assisting a corporate client with a search for a Senior Paralegal. Work location is the San Fernando Valley, CA. This is anticipated to be a 6-month temporary assignment and this is a hybrid schedule-2 days/week in office and 3 days/week working remotely. Candidates must have a background in contracts, medical device or healthcare legal experience. As a Senior Paralegal with this corporation, your responsibilities will include:
- Assist with and support contract negotiations.
- Ensure materials and contract terms are consistent with Corporation’s policies and with legal and regulatory advice.
- Act as a liaison to business personnel, responding to routine questions and, where necessary, seeking feedback from additional resources needed to respond to questions.
- Work closely with business functions to understand their needs and streamline legal processes.
- Provides legal assistance to corporate attorneys.
- Acts as liaison between company attorneys, outside counsel, organizations and inhouse employees.
- Compiles data from legal digests, encyclopedias and practice manuals.
- Assembles, proofs and edits drafts of contracts, leases, licenses and insurance policies.
- Prepares and files legal documents with appropriate entities, as required.
- Conducts research on projects as directed by corporate attorneys. May review and ensure the company’s compliance with regulations.
- Assists internally in analyzing documents.
Our client is looking for a BA/BS and an ABA Approved Paralegal Certificate. JD or degree in Legal Studies might be considered as well.
