WHAT YOU’LL DO Late shift: 6:00 p.m.

– 2:30 a.m.

OVERVIEW: Food Preparation in Café for Chef, Customer Service, Accurate Cash Handling, Restocking Café Servery, Station Set-up, and Cover Stations in Café.

RESPONSIBILITIES: This position is responsible for general food service work involving varied tasks including preparing food for all stations, specials and other food stations.

Responsible for sanitation and food safety in designated food station.

Assist Café management with food production, catering and other designated projects and events.

Must possess the ability to: Maintain a high level of quality and integrity of food confidence with customers Assist in putting away stock Accurate Cash handling Ability to work in a computer based register system in a timely and accurate manner Provide outstanding customer service Maintain food ordering sheet with needed food requests to ensure that product is on hand Train for the ability to fill in at all other Café Stations as needed Ability to follow a recipe to Chef’s/Team specification Assist Chef in Kitchen preparation Maintain a high level of quality and integrity of Food Confidence with Customers Assist Chef in Kitchen in the proper practice of Preparation & Sanitation Techniques Partner with cross-functional stakeholders Assist in putting away stock Open kitchen and turn on equipment as required Maintain sanitation of station, sanitation certification Assist in Delivering catering orders Work a flexible schedule as required by catering needs Assist with other Café duties and stations as required Lift 50 pounds EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum two years experience in a kitchen environment Strong customer service skills Strong verbal communication skills Must be knowledgeable about the preparation and production foods in large volume operation Ability to prepare quality food in a fast-paced working environment Ability to be flexible and handle several tasks at once Ability to follow directions Customer interaction skills a must Customer Service Experience Prior Kitchen Experience of 2-3 years, High volume would be helpful Prior experience in banquet service a plus Flexibility of working different Stations Quick learning agility EDUCATION: High School or Above WHAT WE OFFER At Abbott, you can have a good job that can grow into a great career.
