The Village Vet is seeking a highly-skilled, enthusiastic Veterinary Technician Assistant for our very busy 4+ doctor GP practice.
Our focus is on quality patient care, exceptional customer service and a team that consistently rocks!
Our ideal candidate will be experienced with: * Restraining small animals, gland expression* Subcutaneous injections, x-rays* Knowledge of common medications used in a GP setting* Familiar operating IDEXX lab equipment* Assisting the doctor in surgery and monitoring hospitalized patients * Cornerstone experience a plus* 2 years experience as a Veterinary Assistant in a veterinary hospital preferred* Great interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written* Open-minded, team player!
A weekend day availability and some holidays will be required for this position.
