Senior Business Control Specialist

Job Description: This role will have strong collaboration with other Agile Product Owners and internal Technology development team and be responsible defining business requirements for multiple initiatives across the Complaint Program with primary oversight for the complaints workflow (CTR).

Must be highly organized with the ability to effectively prioritize activities while serving as a liaison between Technology and business partners.

Product Owners have a deep understanding of the business processes to define scope for LOB User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Post Production Validation (PPV) across multiple projects.

Additional responsibilities include: o Creates the product roadmap to align with the business strategy o Creates and prioritizes stories in the product backlog o Designs, builds and executes UAT scripts and ensures testing standards are met o Refines, reviews and accepts stories to enable progress on sprints o Responsible for reviewing / approving technology designs for business o partners applying a user (customer and employee) centric perspective o Applies project management and / or process design best practices to ensure continuous improvement o Supports change management deliverables and Agile project documentation o Supports FLU’s and other associated Complaint Program stakeholders with general complaint strategy support Required Skills: o Working knowledge of Complaints Program and/or workflow solutions o Experience with and/or high knowledge of Agile project management methodology o 5 years relevant work experience managing business projects with workflow solutions o Effective communication and presentation skills; verbal and written o Executive level presentation ability o Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy o Experience with process improvement and product management o Ability to facilitate meetings, capture key outcomes/actions and own product documentation o Agile, PMI or Six Sigma certification a plus o Ability to adapt to fast changing business needs o Ability to work with and across multiple functional areas (FLU’s, support teams, vendors, risk, etc.) o Experience with identifying and resolving audit and/or high risk type of issues Desired Skills: o Knowledge of project tools (JIRA experience preferred) o 5 years project management experience including process improvement/re-engineering and technology change efforts o Intermediate proficiency using Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and in Visio o Strong decision making skills with an assertive and proactive communication style o Strong communication skills (verbal, written and presentation) and active listening skills o Must be proficient in data management to include strong data analytic capability o Must have strong organizational skills and be able to handle multiple tasks o Enthusiastic, energetic, determined and positive – especially under pressure o Critical thinker and risk minded o Agile SAFe certification preferred Job Band: H5 Shift: 1st shift (United States of America) Hours Per Week: 40 Weekly Schedule: Referral Bonus Amount: 0 > Job Description: This role will have strong collaboration with other Agile Product Owners and internal Technology development team and be responsible defining business requirements for multiple initiatives across the Complaint Program with primary oversight for the complaints workflow (CTR).
