Quality Temp Staffing is seeking a Radiation Therapist for hospital setting. This position is an ongoing full-time position located in the heart of Los Angeles. If your out of state, no problem we are willing to relocate you to the lovely sunny state of California. We are currently offering a relocation sign-on bonus. JOB TITLE: Radiation Therapist
SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday
HOURS: Full-Time; 40 hours/week
LOCATION: Los Angeles, CA
Job Requirements:
Requirements:
- Certification by the State of California for Therapeutic Radiologic Technologist issued by the Department of Health Services
- Current ARRT Certification in Radiation Therapy Technologist
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment, making decisions and directing work and patient flow to achieve maximum operational efficiency
- In-depth knowledge of physics and mathematics, understanding of the medical terminology
- Administers ionizing radiation for the cure or palliation of cancer patients.
- Display professional conduct essential to the wellbeing of the radiation oncology patient.
- Demonstrate effective written communication skills; Maintain accurate and detailed treatment chart documentation.
- Demonstrate effective verbal communication skills in the clinical setting.
- Observe the clinical progress of the radiation oncology patient, use clinical decision making skills to recognize and report any signs of complications.
- Utilize treatment accessories to accurately reproduce the radiation treatment.
- Safely and effectively operate a variety of computerized simulation and treatment machines.
Additional Requirements:
- Must have minimum two (2) years of experience
- CPR Card from American Heart Association OR American Red Cross.
- Current PPD/TB or Chest X-Ray (within last 12 months)
- MMR, Varicella, and Hepatitis B – Vaccination Records or Titers
- Health Clearance (within last 12 months)
