Developer – Shell Scripting/SQL

UST Global® is currently searching for a highly motivated Developer with proven experience to aid in the development and enhancement of customer applications
Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise within an assigned business unit/area, usually as a member of a project team, in analysis, design, and development of business applications.
- Provide technical consulting support on projects or system issues.
- Develop business knowledge and relationships to integrate activities with other IT departments to ensure successful implementation and support of project efforts.
- Collect and analyse business requirements for projects.
- Perform feasibility studies and translate requirements into an appropriate design.
- Monitor and report to management on the status of project efforts, anticipating and identifying issues that inhibit the attainment of project goals and implementing corrective actions.
- Perform other duties as assigned (no more than 5% of duties).
- Coordinate work with Offshore team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 3 or more years of experience in development or maintenance tasks.
- Strong Knowledge and hands-on experience in shell scripting and SQL.
- Nice to have knowledge in Perl Scripting and C Programming
- Proficiency in the understanding of the structure and deployment of IT & business systems.
- Detail oriented, possess solid analytical, interpersonal, documentation, organizational, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) to interact with employees, management, and users.
- Ability to meet deadlines, independently lead an implementation team, and perform in an individual or team environment.
- Flexibility of work in any shift and willing to do production support.
