ERSEA Coordinator-Pediatrics

ResponsibilitiesUnder the general supervision of the Early Head Start Co-Executive Director, you will be responsible implementing the Enrollment, Recruitment, Selection and Eligibility and Attendance (ERSEA) component of the UCLA Early Head Start Program.

This includes program planning, developing, and revising procedures within the ERSEA area.

You will work with families living with the UCLA Service area and informs them of the services provided by the program.

This includes activities such as ongoing recruitment; selection of families to be enrolled in the program; verification of eligibility, maintaining an active waiting list, providing participants with an orientation of the program and ensuring full enrollment is maintained.

You will assign children to Early Childhood Educators and ensures they have a caseload that is within Head Start and Early Head Start compliance.

In this role, you will be responsible for attending community meetings and working with community agencies on various task forces.

You will make outreach efforts by attending local community fairs and making program presentations.

You will also maintain an updated list of community agencies and resources available for program participants and makes referrals as appropriate during enrolment appointments.

The individual in this position must submit monthly Enrollment reports, PIR Monthly Enrollment report, and analyze childplus.net enrollment reports.

This individual must also monitor the ERSEA section for Federal regulation compliance.QualificationsKnowledge of Early Head Start/Head Start Performance Standards in particular ERSEA 1305 Minimum 3 years of experience Early Head Start in recruitment and enrollmentExperience working with community agenciesCompletion and submission of required personnel forms prior to employment.Fluency and proficiency in English and Spanish is preferredAt least 12 units of child development coursesUCLA is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
