This position supports all hardware and infrastructure components for the site.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
● Implements complex solutions, modifications, or enhancements to existing hardware applications or a suite of integrated systems for the production plant.
● Implements and troubleshoots complex hardware components, tools, and utilities, and personal computer systems
● Supports HMI/Control System changes/upgrades.
● Executes configuration management, technical vendor management, problem mitigation, change management, and critical situation management to complex hardware
● Installs complex hardware/software products using technical tools and utilities, documenting, validating and verification procedures to ensure successful installation of systems hardware/software.
● Implements new technical solutions, servers, workstations and network connected devices, as they relate to hardware/software operating systems and applications.
● Co-ordinates on short-term strategic planning activities for the development and implementation of hardware/software systems architecture and adheres to AAK technical guidelines.
● Ensures that technical environment is patched and server/firmware updates are planned and executed.
Ensures that backup solutions for the site are functioning.
● Helps to onboard new personnel and supports external partners for the site.
● Assists in the development and management of project budgets and deployment including the training of personnel.
● Monitoring compliance with IT standards.
● Supports and documents site specific access control systems and procedures
● Performs and documents IT related Inspections of the plant, server rooms, and is responsible for 5S and IT equipment receiving and disposal for the site.
● Responsible for regularly ensuring connectivity of kiosks, conference rooms, wireless access points, video conference equipment, mobile devices, phone systems, information screens, internet connectivity.
● Monitors and responds to Help Desk Tickets
● Makes security fixes in response to audits.
Assisting with on-site audits
● Acts on security reports from automated systems (Cisco AMP Antivirus, Nessus) and addressing IT security concerns.
● Investigates potential virus infections and take action accordingly (clean, reinstall, require password change).
● Documents (potential) security breaches.
● Makes sure that IT and Plant Control systems (Server, network, and applications) live up to company (security) standards.
In case of non-compliance document non-compliance and possibly document steps needed to bring systems in compliance with company standards.

● Education: Undergraduate studies in computer science, management information systems, or a related field is preferred.
● Knowledge: Proven knowledge in advanced operating, server and personal computer systems.
Must have an in-depth understanding in multiple hardware and software platforms, products and applications.
Proven knowledge in technical diagnostic and analytical tools.
Understands incident and problem management processes.
Proven knowledge in VMWare, HyperV, Cisco, Windows Server, Windows 10 Operating systems, Mobile (IOS and Android), TCPIP, and UPS technologies.
Work with Network and other monitoring systems like PRTG, SolarWinds, NetDisco, Nessus, etc.
Assist when necessary in access control systems.
● Experience: 5-7 years of technical software and hardware development, installation, or operational support.
● Skills: Must have the ability to analyze complex systems that have multiple platforms, widespread impact and call for interpretation and coordination of technical and complex fields of information.
Must possess interpersonal skills and ability to work with users who have to be interrupted.
Must have strong communication skills to interact with all levels of personnel, management and vendors.
