The overnight Program Aid supports the program with evening supervision and accomplishment of on going tasks.Position SummaryProgram Aides Program Aides are responsible for monitoring and supervising psychiatric and dual diagnosis clients in their program overnight. Position ResponsibilitiesOversee client daily activities in residential component, including wake-up and chore supervision.Observe and monitor client behaviors.Facilitate assigned groups/meetings/activities per program schedule.Coordinates milieu treatment with clinical team.Read/Write shift log (including check in and check out as well as a summary of the shift events).Provide transportation to and supervision of clients at community 12-step meetingsSchedule/coordinate appointments and client transport per supervisor’s directives (for court, ancillary services, etc.).Additional ResponsibilitiesAssists Program Manager in maintaining treatment facilities, completing chart audits following program policy timelines.Supervises self-administration of client medicationsFollows emergency procedures exactlyATA prevention: including one-on-one peer counseling, notification of assigned counselor and immediate notification of Clinical Director or Executive Director whenever a client talks about leaving the programISJP123Minimum RequirementsAbility to work Overnight Shifts 12am-8am.Education and ExperiencePrefer candidate who is seeking drug and alcohol certificationPrefer candidate who is on a credential path (either mental health or substance use).Prefer candidate hold Bachelors degree, not required.At least one year working with clients with substance abuse and/or mental health issuesValid California Driver’s License and insurability by agency’s automobile insurance carrierClearance of TB test, and any other mandatory state/federal requirementsClearview offers full time (30+ hours/week) benefits including medical, dental, vision and 401(k).
