We are looking for a Data Analyst who can quickly understand the current needs and data resources of Compass Mortgage, manage ongoing data requests from internal users, and eventually develop strategic proposals for future data work in support of our mission. The Data Analyst will be responsible for implementing the strategy of our data systems, maintaining and updating our SQL database of mortgage data, and conducting quality analysis of that data.ResponsibilitiesImplement strategy for which data Compass collects, stores, analyzes, and leverages for the purposes of achieving and tracking progress toward organizational and project-level goalsMaintain SQL database and internal reports for maximum efficiency, integration, and accuracyStreamline data systems at Compass to reduce burden of updating, reduce redundancies, and make data more accessible to staffSeek out new sources of data to leverageDevelop user-friendly charts, graphs, and displays of information targeting a range of audiencesStay informed of work from competitors and communicate key findings to the Compass teamRequirementsStrong customer service and problem-solving skillsDemonstrated ability to learn new technical platforms in self-guided fashionThe ability to analyze and interpret dataExperience with or aptitude for learning SQL, Sisense and/or similar database and visualization toolsEffective verbal and written communicatorHighly organized with excellent attention to detailUndergraduate degree*Pay Range: $42,000-68,000 salary plus incentives and overtime*Remote work may not be supported in all states and is subject to review.
