Current Need

McKesson’s CoverMyMeds division has an opportunity for a Technical Implementation Analyst to travel to customer sites for upgrades or new build-outs.

This position requires travel 80-100% of the time and will ideally be based remotely in the central or eastern time zone.

Position Summary

This position is responsible for implementing & supporting applications and/or hardware for one or more products or areas of McKesson’s Pharmacy Automation team.

 Responsibilities

Consults with customers on implementation requirements and works on projects that often involve network, server or software implementation & upgrades

Provides implementation support such as installation, calibration, testing, troubleshooting, documentation & training

Provides analytic support throughout the implementation process to ensure successful link to business objectives/goals and may provide ongoing customer support

Schedules coordination and management of technical installation resources in multiple disciplines including mechanical installation, electrical and network installation

Provides hardware support to customers throughout the year

Minimum Requirements

Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience

Critical Skills

6+ years field support engineering experience

2+ year in project management experience of key projects

Knowledge of conveyor systems and/or pneumatic systems and/or network devices

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and other Microsoft Office products

Experience using AutoCAD to read blueprints and take measurements

Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers, PLC programming software and the input/output devices that connect to the PLC, to produce a working system

Supervisory or team lead experience ideal

Additional Knowledge & Skills

Subject matter expert on diverse product offerings or software applications

Infrastructure subject matter expert/product specialist

Good understanding of relevant healthcare industry knowledge within the business combined with technical expertise

PMP Certification or the desire to obtain and Six Sigma certification is a plus

Must be a self-starter/self-directed with the ability to work with minimal direction.

May work independently; as a supervisor; or as a team member depending on project requirements.

Must be able to communicate with all levels of management to review project tasks and status

Education

BS degree or equivalent experience in electronic system installation and troubleshooting
