Primary Purpose: The Designer will support the Global Environments team by overseeing new store projects, renovations, enhancements and concept work in our international market.
The successful individual will leverage their proficiency to
• Manage all new store, renovation, and enhancement projects in our international market from feasibility to opening.
• Review project designs with all cross-functional teams including VM, sales, BD, and construction.
• Update projects as needed to meet team needs and budget constraints.
• Review construction and millwork drawings for accurate information, materials and sizing.
• Manage schedule for international review as well as agenda for local calls.
The accomplished individual will possess
•College Degree
– Architecture, Interior Design (preferred)
•3
– 4 years’ experience in architecture/drafting position.
•Experience in retail design and reviewing construction/millwork drawings a plus.
•Excellent proficiency in ACAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp and Microsoft Office Suite.
•Must be self-motivated, highly productive, and have excellent communication skills.
•Ability to work independently, as well as cross functionally with other business groups.
•Must be a highly organized, self-starter with ability to handle multiple priorities at once.
•Familiarity with the nature of archival work, specifically the importance of accuracy in documentation.
•Must be able to read and understand architectural drawings.
