Overview: Schneider Packaging Equipment is hiring Assembler Helpers to join their team1st Shift, 7:00am
– 3:30 pm, Monday
– Friday with overtime as neededHourly Rate: DOE Responsibilities: Objectives of this Role Perform light machine assembly by both written and verbal instruction.Maintain a neat and clean production floor.Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform light machine assembly utilizing hand tools.Work as a team in assembly operations.Complete electronic labor reporting.Assist other assemblers in assembly operations and procedures.Contribute to the continuous improvement of the assembly team and its functions.Perform other related duties as required by management.
Qualifications: Skills and QualificationsMechanical aptitude.High School diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to use hand tools.Physical/Mental StandardsAbility to operate computer.Manual dexterity sufficient for constant use of a keyboard, mouse, and telephone.
Speech and hearing sufficient for regular communications.
Vision sufficient for use of a computer monitor and transaction documents.Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.Ability to perform climbing, stooping, crouching, walking, grasping, talking, hearing and repetitive motions.Executing up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and or 10 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.Work EnvironmentWhile performing the responsibilities of the job, these work environment characteristics are representative of the environment the job holder will encounter.
