Goodwill Southern California is looking for E-Commerce associates to join our incredibly entrepreneurial team. You will be part of a growing e-commerce team that is focused on growing direct-to-consumer sales, improving the web shopping experience and updating web content for effective merchandising. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to all aspects of e-commerce in an entry level position. The E-Commerce Production Associate I receives and maintains inventory and leads to achieve the efficient operation of the E-Commerce production department.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Receives and sorts inventory.
  • Labels, scans, and sorts merchandise.
  • Photographs merchandise and creates merchandise descriptions and lists items for sale.
  • Establishes search words and product titles.
  • Researches and identifies product value for individual items
  • Receives and records donations from public.
  • Loads and unloads trucks.
  • Inspects merchandise to evaluate quality.
  • Maintains accurate production logs.
  • Operates NOS for product check-in and QC.
  • Operates testing machines if evaluating gems, stones, or metals.

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
  • Basic computer literacy required; Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook email application and internet skills preferred.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English required; quality assurance or control experience helpful.
  • Customer service, merchandise handling, and/or shipping/warehouse experience preferred.
  • Quality assurance or control experience helpful.
  • Shift flexibility and overtime when needed.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
  • Punctual and dependable attendance.
  • Free from alcohol and drug abuse.
  • Understands the basic philosophy of Goodwill and participates fully in carrying out its mission.
  • Adheres to Goodwill’s values of Respect, Integrity, Service, & Excellence.
  • Evening and weekend availability required.
