Position Title: Cloud Network Engineer
– IT The ADT’s Cloud Center of Excellence helps ADT teams transform and evolve ADT’s business through the use of Google’s global network, web-scale data centers and software infrastructure.
We are looking for a resource preferably with experience in GCP cloud in areas of Google’s global network, web-scale data centers, and software infrastructure.
As a Network Specialist, you’ll help build out ADT’s Google Cloud network infrastructure, guiding them on how to configure and deploy VPC architecture, hybrid cloud connectivity, load balancing, network security and more.
You’ll consult with stakeholders on how to best design, deploy and optimize their cloud network for high availability, reliability, performance and scalability.
You will also work hand-in-hand with strategic partners to design and perfect end-to-end solutions, while supporting migration of ADT’s workload to Google Cloud and helping them to expand their cloud footprint.
Key Responsibilities: Be a trusted technical advisor and solve complex Cloud Infrastructure and Networking challenges.
Create and deliver best practices recommendations, tutorials, articles and technical presentations adapting to different levels of key business and technical stakeholders.
Knowledge sharing on design and operational support methodologies to other engineers.
Design, deploy, and support secured network infrastructure within Google Cloud using primarily CICD tools.
Participate in the onboarding and migration of different project/applications.
