Cheyenne Wyoming Permanent position Full benefits Description: We are currently seeking Critical Facilities Techs to provide maintenance and repair services in a critical environment facilities environment.
This position will service the base building systems, including HVAC mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment, and related components.
Must have the ability to lead other service technicians, handle multiple projects and daily activities, and meet timelines.
Responsibilities Perform maintenance and repairs to the Mechanical, Plumbing, Fire, Life Safety, and Control systems for the facility to keep these systems up to applicable standards Maintains responsibility for preventative maintenance, contracted maintenance, general maintenance and technical proficiency Monitoring operation and maintaining adiabatic cooling and air conditioning equipment, heating, ventilating equipment, pumps, valves, piping and filters, other mechanical and electrical equipment Performs and/or completes service requests accurately and expediently.
Performs preventative maintenance tasks in a timely manner.
Monitors the quality maintenance work performed by outside contractors.
Be able to evaluate building systems to monitor and to improve performance to operate efficiently.
Complies with all policies and procedures established for the campus.
Actively participates in emergency response procedures, technical and safety training programs.
Perform all work using the proper safety equipment and in a safe manner Requirements High School diploma or GED CFC Certification preferred Strong HVAC background; 5 years Minimum of 4 years’ experience in electrical, HVAC trade, including rooftop units Minimum of 4 years’ experience in backup systems (generator and UPS) Knowledge of maintenance and operation of building automation, water treatment and fire life safety systems Good interpersonal and a positive team attitude Familiarity with computers and operations and office automation applications, including Microsoft Office Strong customer service orientation Worked, and monitored critical Data Center systems (UPS, PDU, Diesel Generators, ATS equipment and Building Controls), as well as industrial electrical equipment and systems that include power distribution components/wiring, electronic components and lighting systems.
Performed routine planned and unplanned maintenance on critical gear that had high business impacts.
