Escrow Assistant

Our client is one of the largest title insurance companies nationally.

They are currently seeking an escrow assistant to join their team.

Responsibilities Place orders Answer phone and transfer to correct person Follow up required items Order payoffs and final utilities for files; verify payoffs match title commitments.

Handle all file requirements prior to closing, including but not limited to liens, judgments, and bankruptcy requirements Obtain most past and present tax information; ensure current taxes have not been paid.

Order and follow-up on HOA letters, bylaws, financials, and irrigation.

Maintain communication with fellow employees regarding status of the file.

Educations & Requirements Bachelors degree preferred 2 years of experience working with real estate documents, or legal transactions.
