The Consumer Insights Manager is responsible for driving all phases of consumer research initiatives.

They will colloaborate with cross-functional teams across the organization to develop research solutions and effectively execute those, resulting in analysis and actionable strategies.Manage full implementation, analysis and reporting of enterprise-wide researchDevelop and manage the execution of custom research projects across cross-functionally to effectively support consumer insights across the organizationDevelopment of a wide range of qualitative and quantitative methodologies including online surveys, interviews, etcProgram and execute surveys via research platformWork with Database Marketing team to identify proper segments and sample sizes for researchDevelop actionable insights via deep data analysis and identify resulting recommendationsCreate reports to summarize key finding and implicaitons of research to support businessReview and analyze third-party research reportsDeliver reports to stakeholders and effectively present resultsDevelop recommendations for future research based on data analysisRemain current with new research tools and industry trendsScope (Required):Supervises staff – NoOrganizational Scope – All US locationsLocation AnywhereRequirementsEducation (Required):Bachelor’s degree in relevant fieldSkills (Required):Excellent grasp of research and testing methodologiesStrong analytical and reporting skillsExperience working with third party research partnersAbility to work proactively, both collaboratively and independentlyAbility to track projects and prepare regular updatesExcellent communication skills (written and verbal) and demonstrated interpersonal skills to work well as part of a cross-functional teamExcellent time management and organization skills with ability to multitask and work on numerous projects simultaneously while retaining quality and accuracyStrong planning and execution skillsA proactive self-starter who can anticipate needs and keep projects moving forwardProficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and MS OfficeExperience (Required):5-7+ years of relevant experience as a consumer insights or research managerAbout Harbor Freight ToolsIn 1977, Harbor Freight Tools was started as a small family-owned business.
