Analyst – Operations and Reporting Analyst

Business Overview: Supervisory Relations is one of three divisions in the Regulatory Strategy & Policy team for BNPP’s Intermediate Holding Company (“IHC”) and Wholesale operations in the U.S.

Supervisory Relations acts as a liaison with the bank’s U.S.

regulators to promote effective relationships and to ensure a consistent, cohesive and strategic approach to interactions with supervisors.

Supervisory Relations coordinates regulatory engagements, oversees regulatory exams and reviews, and supports management in identifying and responding to key themes in supervisory activities.

The Supervisory Relations team works closely with other divisions within Regulatory Strategy & Policy, and with executive management, business lines, and control functions (including Compliance, Finance, Risk and Legal), as well as with teams at Bank of the West.

Candidate Success Factors : Candidates will be measured on the following four performance drivers, which will dictate how individual impact is considered on the Americas platform: Results and Impact Leadership and Collaboration Client, Customer and Stakeholder Focus Compliance Culture and Conduct Responsibilities: BNP Paribas is seeking an Operations & Reporting Analyst to join the Supervisory Relations team reporting to the Head of Operations and Reporting.

The Operations & Reporting Analyst will support the efficient and effective operations of Supervisory Relations, including through the development, enhancement and implementation of data analysis and MIS/reporting, exam management tools and databases, and controls for protection of data security.

Key responsibilities include: Assist with and prepare timely and accurate management and board reporting on regulatory engagements, remediation progress and key trends Maintain, record and track regulatory examination results and findings, leveraging internal databases and systems Perform data quality and data assurance Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver insights Proactively identify and implement improvements in reporting and MIS timeliness, accuracy and relevance of content Maintain and enhance data repositories, including SharePoint; implement policies and controls to ensure data protection Develop tools to support regulatory exam management processes; identify and implement enhancements to improve process efficiency and consistency Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new or upgraded applications, as needed Minimum Required Qualifications: BA or BS preferred Data management and analysis skills Excellent communication skills, including oral and written Expertise in Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint Project management and process improvement skills Ability to work on multiple tasks with competing priorities A high level of detail orientation and organization Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) Experience with Alteryx or other workflow improvement tools Programming in one or more languages (SQL, Python, VBA) Understanding of financial markets, regulatory requirements, Confidential Supervisory Information FINRA Registrations Required: N/A BNP Paribas is committed to providing a work environment that fosters diversity, inclusion, and equal employment opportunity without regard to race, color, gender, age, creed, sex, religion, national origin, disability (physical or mental), marital status, citizenship, ancestry, sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression, or any other legally protected status.
