Senior RF Systems Engineer

Today’s Date: 7/8/21 Position Title: Sr.

RF Systems Engineer Position Reports to: VP, Engineering Brief Description of Position The Senior RF/Systems Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that assigned products and systems meets all technical requirements.

They are responsible for integration, testing and delivery of the products and systems.

The Senior RF/Systems Engineer will participate in the initial requirements analysis, design reviews and customer meetings.

Duties / Responsibilities 1.

Responsible for initial RF and integration designs of highly integrated, complex radar measurement systems.

2.

Responsible for leading and mentoring small teams of engineers for successful integration and testing of one or more systems or products.

3.

Responsible for analyzing requirements to provide labor and material estimates along with initial designs for both competitive and sole source opportunities.

4.

Responsible for verifying system/product meets operational requirements.

5.

Responsible for creating and maintaining meaningful task lists and estimates.

6.

Other duties as required.

Required Education BSET or BSEE in electrical engineering or physics.

Technical Masters degree is preferred.

Required Experience 10 years with BSET, 5 years with BSEE.

Experience must be in radar or other RF related field.

Must be team focused, organized and highly self-motivated.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications 1.

Military background.

2.

Experience with tracking radars, traditional and phased arrays.

3.

Design and technical understanding of electromagnetic, RF, and microwave systems and principles.

4.

Proficient with RF test equipment (e.g.

spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, etc.).

5.

Experience with object oriented software development.

6.

Experience with digital signal processing (DSP).

7.

Proficient with digital design methodologies (e.g.

VHDL, FPGA, etc.).

8.

Experience with motion devices and motion control.

9.

Have the ability to be granted a US DoD Security Clearance; having an existing Security Clearance is highly desirable Physical/Visual/Mental Requirements Must be physically agile and able to support hands-on work with large indoor and outdoor radar systems.

Must be able to lift, carry and mount electronics equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
