Responsibilities Standing on feet for at least 8 hours
• Sets up and operates various equipment in department
• Performs minor repair of equipment
• Assists value stream associates in accomplishing their assigned work
• Ensures production schedule is followed and notifies supervisor any time daily schedule will not be met
• Keeps Supervisor informed at all times of any issues in work area
• Must be able to cross-train in other areas of facility
• Must follow verbal and written instructions
• Must follow all safety rules
• Produce quality parts
• Meet productivity requirements
• Successful demonstration of machine setup and operation of a minimum of four details following training
• Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Accredited High School diploma or GED
• Ability to do some lifting or moving of heavyweight material and work in difficult working positions (up to 35 lbs)
• Ability to read prints, use various measuring tools such as calipers and other gages and understand angles and orientations
• Proficient math and measuring skills
• Self-Directed with ability to work with little direction from supervisor
• Leader, self-motivated
• Ability to exert 25-80 pounds of force occasionally and/or exert 10-25 pounds of force frequently to move objects.
