Senior Accountants – S&P 500 REIT Up to $95k +OT+ Bonus!

Reputable S&P real estate investment firm is hiring for multiple Senior Accountants for the Investments, Joint Venture, and Real Estate Development divisions – all roles newly created due to growth!Ideal candidate will have Big 4 or Mid-tier CPA (CPA Candidate), preferably 3+years, and/or strong commercial real estate experience. Positions will employ a number of duties in the areas of accounting and project support.Responsibilities:Manage the day-to-day accounting for the assigned portfolio of commercial real estate Joint Venture and Investment propertiesAnalyze Property Income Statements and Balance Sheets monthly trendsPrepare tenant recovery and rental revenue variance explanationsAssist with the preparation of the monthly and quarterly Accounting Reporting package for executive management reviewPrepare quarterly and annual debt compliance packagesAssist with research on technical accounting matters such as consolidation accounting, lease accounting, and project cost accountingParticipate in ad-hoc projects such as process improvement projects, internal and external audit requests, department goals and initiatives, and other special projectsAssist with the acquisition and sales process, including preparing accounting analyses and coordination with Legal and Asset Services to ensure timely review of closing statementsPresent executive management and Joint Venture Partners with cash flow projections and manage capital account funding requirements and distributionsCoordinate and review annual budgets with asset services teamLiaise between external stakeholders in Joint Venture investmentsPrepare monthly JV partner reporting packages, including financial analytics, fluctuation analysis, operational overviews, executive summariesPrepare stand-alone audited financial statements, including preparing statement of cash flows, drafting financial statement footnotes, and coordinating with external auditors, Joint Venture Partners, and management to complete the audited financial statements timelyStay up-to-date with new accounting pronouncements and assist with providing summary of impact to Joint Venture s financial statementsProvide financial reporting support for the preparation of the Company s 10Q/10K SEC filings and quarterly Supplemental reportingQualifications And ExperienceBachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business AdministrationCPA or CPA in progressBig 4 or Mid-Tier CPA firm experience3-6 years of public experience requiredPublic commercial real estate experience preferredProficient in Technical US GAAP AccountingDetail-oriented and strong analytical skillsExperience in financial statement preparation and general ledger accountingAbility to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to prioritize and meet deadlinesStrong verbal and written communication skills to interact with all levels including, but not limited to HQ/field personnel, senior management, and outside partiesProficient in business related software: Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.JD Edwards Accounting software experience desirable
