Maintenance Manager

Overview Manage car shopping and repairs for a fleet of over 50,000 rail assets.

Oversee assigned group of customers to ensure timely repair and return of their assets.

Manage projects related to maintenance and provide customer service to rail lessees.

Drive process improvements within and across functions.

(Note this position does not involve managment of any direct associates.) Responsibilities Manage repairs on DDCT notices/Bad Orders, Railroad Damage, Assignments, Releases, Programs, Tank Qualifications and other repairs/modifications Optimize Shop selection and maximize usage of Mobiles Gather, maintain and update customer specific requirements Manage shop cycle time;rental abatement metrics Review, analyze and approve maintenance estimates and invoices, including segregation of lessee and lessor responsibility items and audit for accuracy and regulatory compliance Work cross-functionally with the Engineering and Order Fulfillment teams to facilitate various repairs Provide business reporting and customer updates Manage system updates as needed Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree in Business and/or relevant experience in the Rail industry.
