LoanMart: Compliance Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARYThe Compliance Supervisor’s reports to the Company’s General Counsel, overseeing the organization’s Compliance and Regulatory requirements.The Compliance Supervisor will be responsible for supporting the Compliance and Legal Department.

This individual will interact with all internal departments to direct compliance issues to appropriate existing channels for investigation and resolution.This position is responsible, along with the Compliance Department team, for administering all aspects of the Compliance Program.

This position assesses for compliance of underwriting and servicing rules, guidelines, procedures, and programs.

The individual also participates in various audits and examinations.

Assures compliance with all company related policies and procedures, as well as state and federal lending and other applicable regulations.ABOUT THE POSITIONUnder general direction, assists in the analysis of the company’s regulatory compliance posture and development of control recommendations.

Consults with product management to keep the business abreast of changes.Manage the progression of properly identifying, documenting and possible improvement of current processes.Perform monthly and spot audits of internal department processes.Perform compliance/regulatory related research as requested by management.Assists in monitoring and reviewing regulatory and legislative changes, preparing company’s response to regulatory examinations, licensure requirements and following up with appropriate areas to ensure required changes are implemented.Handle escalated customer/partner/subordinate complaints.Assists in developing and conducting compliance instructor-led training, as needed.Promptly communicates potential risk situations to the department manager.Monitor collection calls for accuracy, FDCPA compliance, and successful collection efforts.Provide support to various departments by providing compliance updates and assisting in regulatory compliance training.Manage all aspects of compliance team’s performance, production, workload, scheduling, and professional development.Perform other duties as assigned.REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATIONDetail-oriented, ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity.Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills.Advanced PC skills; ability to work with multiple platforms.Extensive FDCPA, FCRA, and ECOA knowledge and application of Federal and state rules and regulations applicable to the consumer finance industry.Ability to interpret laws and regulations and make them easy to understand.Previous management/supervisory experience.Bachelor’s degree from a college or university; or related experience and/or training; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.Educational experience, through in-house training sessions, formal school or financial industry related curriculum, should be applicable to the financial industry.Professional-level bilingual skills in Spanish is a plusABOUT LOANMART: Wheels Financial Group, LLC dba LoanMart.
