Pay : 70,000 100,000 AUD annually (depending on experience) plus relocation allowance and visa sponsorship

Job Description

Early Autism Services (EAS) is an international provider of home-based applied behavior analytic therapy with over ten years of experience implementing high-quality programming.

We are currently seeking Board Certified Behavior analysts to relocate to our Australia branches for Consultant positions. Ideal candidates will be motivated to establish services with local clients while working closely with their Clinical Director.

The duties of a Consultant (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) position include:

  • Supervising and training non-certified staff
  • Attending bi-weekly team meetings with family members and therapists
  • Providing training and feedback to parents and therapists as needed
  • Analyzing data taken by therapy teams and making treatment decisions
  • Updating client goals and treatment plans in a manner consistent with both BACB and NDIS standards
  • Compiling and delivering progress reports to the NDIS in order to secure/maintain funding for clients
  • Taking part in initial assessments for new clients
  • Providing some direct (1:1) service to young children with autism
  • Other duties as required

Requirements

  • An active BCBA certificate, passport, driver’s license, and cleared local police and medical checks
  • Clean records on an international level (for visa sponsorship)
  • A willingness to obtain reliable transportation and a driver’s license once relocated (frequent travel required)
  • At least three years’ experience in psychology, developmental services or a related area
  • Experience training and supervising treatment teams
  • A skillset which includes creating client-specific programming, evaluating peer-reviewed research, and conducting assessments (such as the VB-MAPP or ABLLS) according to the principles of ABA.
