Overview
The Director of People & Places Tech is a member of the t4i (Tech for Intuit) Leadership Team and leads critical work HR and Places technology. Intuit is transforming at an accelerating pace as we invest heavily in powering prosperity for all. Our employee base is growing, and the location and nature of our employees will see significant changes over the coming years. At its core, this role will be responsible for ensuring that the systems and tools we provide are reimagined and retooled to work at global scale and delight our employees.
What you’ll bring
* Proven ability to drive transformational change at scale in a large, global environment, You will have led large scale technology innovation from strategy to execution in equal measure.
* Experience designing, building and delivering HR Technology solutions, including HCM, LMS, ATS, Talent Development, Talent Performance, Total Rewards and Payroll
* Experience as a senior leader of distributed, global teams with sustained high levels of employee engagement
* Demonstrated domain/industry thought leadership in HR Technology landscape
* Extensive experience managing vendor/partners to deliver against service level agreement target measurements
* Proven track record of motivating technical talent and influencing business stakeholders
* A laser focus on outstanding business outcomes with effective and fast decision making that takes into account the interests of all three key stakeholders – employees, customers and shareholders
* Must be very comfortable with Agile and related methodologies to accelerate decisions and outcomes while minimizing risk
* Ability to work well through ambiguity, confidence in making tough calls and leading through adversity with a sharp focus on the eventual right outcomes
* Track record delivering innovative, user focused solutions
* Strong executive leadership – excellent communication skills, collaborative, empowers others, understands facilitative leadership and change management (across multiple organizations)
* BS Degree, preferably in Computer Science or Information Technology
How you will lead
* Manage a team of technical product managers to drive the development of people and places technology including HR/Talent, IT Service Management Solutions, Places and Workforce Platforms.
* Partner with HR Leadership to deeply understand Intuit’s talent strategy, technology needs, employee experience and shape the decision making
* Develop a product strategy and roadmap that will accelerate awesome results for Intuit employees. You will align with customers on their most important business priorities and articulate a vision for how technology can be an enabler and accelerator
* Implement metrics to continuously drive productivity, efficiency and effectiveness of HR systems
* Drive technical architecture and Integration design for all HR Systems
* Ensure highly available Workforce applications with flawless operation
* Delight users through customer back design and innovative execution
* Communicate effectively across the organization to ensure that the team is completely aligned to the business objectives and can do the job effectively
* Build strong interpersonal relationships with peers and other key stakeholders that can help smooth execution, identify new opportunities
* Hire outstanding talent that can work in high performing teams and deliver advantaged results for the business

* You will deliver product requirements with prioritized features and establish the operational rigor for operating and improving the existing portfolio
* You will build and mentor a team of high performing product managers and foster an environment of innovation and collaboration
* You will be accountable for implementing effective change; creating, maintaining and reviewing the appropriate quality metrics; and helping to continually optimize and improve product adoption
* You will serve as the product evangelist, advocating for the customer every step of the way
