The Patient Concierge Support Representative will work in our support center scheduling appointments, assisting with insurance approval and providing appropriate follow-up care for patients discharged from affiliated hospitals. Our ideal candidate will enjoy working in a team focused environment where the ultimate goal is caring for patients.
Seeking candidates who have excellent customer service skills, self-motivated, proactive, dependable, organized and are able to multi-task.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Calling patients discharged during non-business hours to offer scheduling assistance
- Calling physician offices to schedule follow-up appointments
- Documenting needs for scheduling
- Contacting patients to remind and confirm appointment statuses
- Supporting other facilities in offering scheduling assistance as required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum 18 years old with HS diploma or equivalent
- Preferred at least 1 year of college completed
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Good communication skills
