The WhatsApp Program Management team is looking for a highly self-driven, detail-oriented and analytical individual to join a new function supporting strategic cross-company privacy compliance efforts.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about working on complex company wide privacy compliance program management efforts, have strong experience in leading without authority and be able to work independently in an ambiguous and dynamic environment.
As a Program Manager on the team, you will fully immerse yourself in bringing structure and efficiency to high profile projects in the privacy & regulatory compliance space.

Program Manager, WhatsApp
– Privacy Compliance Responsibilities Structure and lead complex cross-functional privacy compliance programs for WhatsApp and coordinate inter and cross-company initiatives Develop metrics and reporting dashboards to evaluate the effectiveness of privacy controls and risk identification Work closely with members of product, engineering, operations, communications, policy, legal, human resources (among others) to operationalize recommendations Manage large cross-functional teams and influence decision-making within leadership audiences Gather and analyze large amounts of information quickly in order to problem solve and drive decision-making effectively Project manage and prioritize work based on urgency and complexity Prepare communication materials and progress tracking for multiple audiences including preparing and delivering presentations to leadership stakeholders Minimum Qualifications 8 years of work experience in program management, management consulting and business or strategic operations Demonstrated record of problem-solving and analytical skills Effective communication with cross-functional audiences and interpersonal skills Experience working with technical and business stakeholders (including leadership) Track record of successfully partnering with cross-functional teams, driving alignment, effective escalations and achieving results Experience setting priorities, multitasking and working independently in a dynamic, rapidly/changing workplace Preferred Qualifications MBA Experience with GDPR, ePD, LGPD, CCPA and other privacy regulations CIPP, CIPM, or CIPT certification Experience working in a fast paced technology company
