Supplier Quality Liaison Position
– Job Description Key Points Ability and willingness to work, on-location in Chrysler Jefferson, Detroit MI., Navistar, Springfield, OH., GM Bowling Green, KY., Cumins Plant, Rocky Mount, NC., and multiple other USA and Canadian locations, in the position of Supplier Quality Liaison.
Be available on all shifts if needed to address any quality concerns or support other team members.
Professional responsibility for client automotive components at the customer manufacturing locations Attend all customer meetings to comply to customer requirements for client communications Attend all customer meetings to review internal and eternal identified quality issues that may affect client components On-site availability to monitor all vehicle manufacturing processes and relationships to responsible client components On-site availability to work with customer Incoming Quality Managers, Auditors and Certification personnel Daily and /or Weekly reporting to company and client teams for identified quality or warranty related concerns Work directly with customer teams on identified quality issues Work directly with customer assembly line personnel and supervision to address identified quality issues Establish and manage certification processes to address and contain identified suspect components in the event of an identified quality issue Communicate actions, clean points and supporting details and documents to customer teams and complete negotiations to favorably close identified quality issues Facilitate, organize and complete client SREA and PTR component trials at customer locations Supplier Quality Liaison Skills and Expertise Associate degree in related automotive field or related business field preferred Work experience in automotive manufacturing environment or related field with documented experience preferred Proficiency in all current computer data analysis and data presentation programs Proficiency in measurement instrument understandings and functionality Ability to produce, collect, understand and present data derived from component investigation and measurement studies Ability to respect rules, regulations and guidelines of all company, customer and client teams Ability to dress, act and speak professionally to uphold the professional standing of our clients and our company Desire to be part of a well-respected, well-educated team and understand the importance of upholding the integrity of the entire team through respectful action and attitude.
Ability to run electronic test equipment to diagnose and update software properties in electronic components.
