The candidate will appear in court, argue motions, and participate in trials.
Will write briefs and perform legal research.
Draft discovery documents and assemble discovery responses.
Draft pleadings and legal correspondence.
Interact with clients.
Deposition and trial experience are required.
Excellent litigation skills are needed.
Must be in current good standing with CA State Bar.
The candidate must have a J.D.
degree.
Strong organizational, analytical, and effective oral communication and writing skills are required.
Should have proficiency in: MS Word including advanced formatting; Adobe Acrobat including PDF editing; and with Westlaw.
Research skills are needed.
