Digital Marketing Specialist

magazine, The Philadelphia Inquirer and The Philadelphia Business Journal, seeks a digital marketing professional who thrives in an autonomous, entrepreneurial culture to join our agency as a Digital Marketing Specialist.

This professional serves a critical support role in the digital department by monitoring trends, researching, auditing and reporting on digital programs and campaigns, and collaborating on the execution of tactics with account teams across the agency on behalf of clients.

PLEASE NOTE: Paid social media management experience (Facebook Ads, Twitter Ads, LinkedIn Ads, TikTok Ads, etc.) is absolutely required.

Knowledge of Google Ads is a plus.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication or acceptable related field 1-2 years of work experience in social media, paid social, or digital, preferably in an agency setting Social media management experience (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Snapchat, Twitter, etc.) Paid social media management experience (Facebook Ads, Twitter Ads, LinkedIn Ads,TikTok Ads, etc.) Understanding of basic advertising campaign structure within each platform, audience building, campaign tracking and reporting Proficient in web analytics tools, specifically Google Analytics Knowledge of latest social media trends and best practices on each platform Above-average tactical writing skills Above-average public speaking and interpersonal skills Above-average analytical, multi-tasking and organizational skills Above-average proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.) Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment with competing deadlines Above-average judgement and problem-solving skills Boundless creativity Fearless approach to digital Resourcefulness and chutzpah Desire to grow, learn, lead and thrive Preferred Qualifications: Experience with social media software such as Sprout Social, Sprinklr, Hootsuite, etc.

Experience with data visualization tools such as Google Data Studio, Tableau, etc.

Experience in influencer marketing or talent relations Relevant digital certifications: Facebook, HubSpot, Google Analytics, etc.
