Job Title:  Nanny/Governess, Live-Out (Los Angeles, CA) 
Job Description 
A Private Residence in Los Angeles, CA seeks an experienced live-out professional Nanny to assist with the care of three teenage children ages: 13, 17, and 19. The chosen candidate should be able to anticipate proactively and efficiently children and family needs. The Nanny will be responsible for taking the two youngest kids (teenagers) to school, helping with homework, keeping track of their calendar and schedule.  When the kids are at school, the Nanny is responsible for organizing and keeping up their rooms.  The Nanny will also act as an assistant’s assistant with running errands for the family when necessary.  A lovely vibrant nanny with a great personality would be wonderful for this family.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Manage children’s schedule 
  • Assist youngest child with homework, school projects, and tutoring
  • Exercise common sense and the ability to take initiative in order to accomplish tasks and make decisions
  • Taking children to and from appointments and activities
  • Ensuring the safety of the children at all times
  • Packing and unpacking children’s belongings as needed when traveling
  • Traveling with family if requested (Must be flexible with travel schedule as family travels often)
  • Maintain a constant line of communication and reporting to the parents
  • Running errands and procuring children supplies as needed
  • Working alongside personal assistant to aid the family as needed 
  • Pet care as needed and taking the dog to vet visits
Schedule: This position requires support Monday – Friday (8 hours per day)
Compensation: Salary is generous but DOE. 
Requirements 
  • Excellent references required from current and previous employers
  • Minimum 3-5 years related experience working for Private Residences
  • Certification in CPR & First Aid 
  • Must have experience working with infants
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Polished, poised, and professional
  • Intelligent with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
  • Good swimming abilities
  • Flexibility to work overtime, nights and weekends
  • Flexible to travel with principals to the Hamptons and any other location as needed
  • Valid driver’s license and confident driver
  • US work authorization
  • Valid passport with flexibility to travel
