Completely live and with just the click of a button, we can make your graduation speech or home cooking show look like a Netflix special, all for a fraction of the cost of a typical production crew.About The JobAs the Technical Director at LiveControl, you will be the leading a team of experienced AVL techs to install LiveControl into thousands of venues across the country.

Not only are you the most senior technical member on the team, but you should have experience creating, managing, and fostering a culture of high-performing innovators.

You should also have a background architecting complex AVL installations and experience overseeing the implementation of them.

You will be responsible for creating our R& D arm to innovate new remote production setups, and build scalable processes to remotely install LiveControl into venues across different industries (Concerts/Worship/Theatre/etc.).Responsibilities:Manage the technical client onboarding process & AVL technical implementation teamUtilize data, dev/product insights, and industry innovations make strategic decisions about LiveControl systems & equipmentCreate and enforce technical standards, SOPs, and documentationWork with the Head of Production to implement new in-house studio setups for content creationManage technical requirements and risks, removing roadblocks and raising red flags, etc.Collaborate with Product & Engineering on new software developments + how they fit into our hardware infrastructureImplementation & advancement of any hardware upgrades (ex additional cameras) for LiveControl clientsOwnership of all LiveControl hardware infrastructure (current and future)Recruit, manage, and retain AVL experts on your team(s)Requirements:7+ years of experience in AV/Production/IT/Networking/ManagementExpert proficiency in AV equipment/systemsManagement experience (ideally in AV Installation, Production, Broadcasting)You can look at multiple types of equipment and understand how they all fit togetherYou stay on top of industry trends and always love testing the newest state of the art equipmentStrong interpersonal skills with demonstrated experience in cross-functional collaborationStrong problem-solving skills, the ability and the desire to find solutions and build processes where none previously existsProven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with the ability to learn and apply new concepts and tools quicklyPluses:You love video and believe it will continue to be an integral part of the way we live our daily livesYou have worked in broadcasting, a production studio, or worked/lead an AV companyExperience working with PTZ cameras, cinema cameras, robotics, and production switching softwares.Startup experiencePerks & Benefits:Fully paid healthcare including dental, vision, and moreUnlimited PTO401(k) plan providedA focus on learning and growth, we offer annual skill development reimbursementsA fully remote-friendly environment and workflow, work anywhere within the United StatesHome office setup stipend
