Payroll Clerk

Our client, a leading professional services company is looking to hire a Payroll Clerk for a permanent opportunity in Los Angeles. 

Understand all phases of payroll processing

*       Process new hire paperwork and update payroll records for employee changes

*       Review, enter and process employee timecards 

*       Process direct deposits and other payroll deductions/payments/taxes

*       Research and resolve payroll/accounting related discrepancies in a timely manner

 

Requirements:

*     Strong computer skills (especially Excel) Pivot tables, VLOOKUP

*     Payroll and/or Accounting background/experience required 

*     Team player and able to work on own

*     Detail oriented

*     Ability to work under tight deadlines

*     Must be able to maintain confidentiality
