Job Title: AR Credit & Deduction Analyst Reports to: AR/Credit Manager Location: Calabasas, CA POSITION OVERVIEW: Wella Operations Financial Order to Cash Team is seeking an AR Analyst to manage Accounts Receivable for our Professional Beauty and Retail Hair business, which is one of the industry’s leading brands.
The AR Analyst will work closely with customers and several internal departments to ensure timely collection of open accounts receivable balances and prepare accurate financial and management reports, including cash and deduction management.
This position has a wide diversity of work situations, and requires good organization and analytical skills, working quickly while maintaining accuracy, and ability to manage multiple priorities RESPONSIBILITIES: Heavy Deduction Management; Reconciliations Maintain receivables through timely and persistent collection efforts.
Order Review and Release Experience, coordinating internally & externally.
Develop collection methods that lead to achieving or exceeding cash goals Coordinate requests from customers to ensure prompt payment.
New Account Set Up and Credit Review; request system updates as it applies.
Prepare accounts receivable aging and collection status reports for Management’s review.
Coordinate departmentally and participate in projects that require AR involvement.
Reconcile cash receipts and billings; Prepare quarterly bad debt reserve schedules.
Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end close procedures.
Complete audit requests as needed.
Retail industry knowledge and experience with customers such as Walmart, Target, CVS.
Research and Deduction Management.
Intermediate to advanced user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook), with an emphasis on the ability to prepare and analyze data using Excel spreadsheets through V lookups and Pivot tables.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including good grammar.
Assertive self-starter with professional demeanor and strong motivation to meet deadlines.
Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: BA or BS in Accounting, Finance; Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Credit/AR.
2-3 Years’ experience with SAP, Infotrac, PCMI
– Product Claims Management Incentive, Crossmark Brokerage knowledge, High Radius Cash Application.
