Your strategic thinking will be applied across the Community Landscape, from concepting and delivering impactful community campaigns to lead the community strategy in alignment with the growth department, and much more.
You will use your experience in management to own the relationship with our development, liveops, growth, marketing, PR teams and Community influencers, maximising our capabilities day to day, and support another Community Manager in his own development.

What will you do: Drive the strategy to core pillars of our Star Trek Fleet Command community: grow, engage and retain Act as an ambassador for both our players and the development team Be a champion, ensuring a deep understanding of game content development and publishing activities Conceptualize and execute Community Campaigns with measurable results collaborating with the rest of the growth team to ensure their delivery Craft messaging around our upcoming releases (including writing long-form articles for official blog) Engage on a daily basis with our community on social media channels and Discord servers Nurture the relationship with our community influencers (Youtubers, Bloggers, Moderators…) Develop partnerships and collaborate on driving cross-promotional community programs Report on community sentiment, ensuring a high-quality analytical view of our entire community is delivered in every report Collaborate with the team to identify opportunities to improve how we operate and help deliver those improvements Represent the team on camera through Live Streams or Video content Support the team to develop highly engaging content across social platforms, (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Youtube) that is highly targeted to our game’s unique audiences What will you need: 5 years of experience growing social communities in the video gaming industry Prior experience in video games industry, social media, and publishing Analysis: Expert skills in exploring and analyzing trends in engagement and feedback Communication: Interpersonal savvy and persuasive skills that make you effective at communicating a winning strategy and achieving your goals.
Project Management: Superb judgment and problem solving skills, and a demonstrated excellence in prioritizing your efforts to deliver maximum value under time constraints.
Player Centric: you understand your impact on our players online experience because you are a gamer.
You leverage that knowledge to improve the overall experience of all our communications.
Communication is a two-way street and you thrive at being a facilitator between game teams and players Strategic: you understand the values of community campaigns and communication and feedback flows.

A strong passion for gaming and the Star Trek IP Track record of innovation, driving new ideas and strategies from concept to execution.
