How you will make an impact
– Support functionality testing and end users
– Provide computer hardware support for PCs, laptops, monitors, servers, and other IT equipment, including diagnoses, repairs, rebuilds, and refurbishments
– Communicate with ticket submitters effectively and on a regular basis
– Manage inventory of equipment, including collaborating on potential purchases
– Handle data transfers from PC to PC and troubleshoot software/hardware along with break/fix
– Coordinate with the appropriate vendors to arrange repairs
– Take down, pack, transport and set up/install on site
– Provide documentation of daily data communication transactions, issues and repairs made or installation activities
– Manage and execute technology implementation projects
– Take down, box and ship equipment that is outdated
– Comply with company quality standards to ensure sound electronic data records
– Own imaging and preparation of new computers
– Install printers, troubleshoot and handle repairs Job Requirements:
– Observant, accurate and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
– Ability to multitask efficiently and prioritize work
– Preferred skills include an understanding of networking such as switching and routing
– 1
– 3 years of experience supporting PC and Mac hardware and software, as well as knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, and WAN
– Demonstrated flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures and job assignments
– Critical thinking, problem solving, ability to work independently
– Technical Support experience
