Our client is an independent Medicare advisor.

They are entering a huge market with a team that comes from Palantir, Latch, Mckinsey, Axios, and other great companies.

The market is 60MM Americans that are entirely under-served and medicare accounts for 14% of the US Government budget.

Unlike most Medicare advisors who search “major plans” or a subset of plans that pay them, our client searches every Medicare option available to you.

This full search is why they find savings and benefits that others miss.

They are not an insurance carrier.

They are a 100% free resource to help Americans navigate the Medicare process.

Our client’s goal is to revolutionize Medicare.

They recently signed a contract with Palantir which allows them access to the largest health database in the world.

This role is either requiring you be located in NYC, or be able to commute to the office once a week.

Our client is looking for a Product Lead to join their core team.

Reporting to their co-founder & CEO, you will be the first Product hire and will help to shape our culture, product, and strategy.

You will be responsible for both high-level product strategy as well as translating that vision into tactical plans and owning the execution of the work in close collaboration with our engineers and designers.

You are equally comfortable creating roadmaps as you are interviewing users, conducting funnel analyses, and setting up product experiments.

This role requires a high ownership orientation and has responsibilities that are significantly broader than a typical product role.

They prefer that this role be based in New York with the ability to travel ~1-2 weeks every 2 months.

Responsibilities
Own the strategy and execution of our member-facing product
Conduct market research to understand where there are gaps that we can and should fill
Solicit user feedback to inform prioritization
Conduct quantitative analysis on our product performance and user behavior to optimize our product
Create and implement A/B tests and product experiments for rapid iteration
Work closely with our Medicare Advocates to create a delightful user experience from end to end
Requirements
3-10 years building direct-to-consumer products Exceptional aptitude at defining both high-level objectives and the granular steps required to achieve those objectives.

This means you have an excitement to shape strategy and an equal desire to execute end-to-end on that vision Positional empathy: You can empathize with both our members and Medicare Advocates alike (who are internal users of our product) Ownership orientation: You are excited to set goals and have ownership for hitting those goals with a team committed to our collective success Excellent quantitative analysis skills with an understanding of data models Comfort with ambiguity: While starting from a blank slate is challenging, you find it exciting, rewarding, and empowering.

High-integrity, first-principles thinker: We don’t care how others have done things; we want to do things the right way We are an equal opportunity workplace.

We are deeply committed to building an inclusive workplace for people of all races, ages, gender identities, sexual orientations, religions, and ethnicities.
