Job Title: Magento E-Commerce Specialist

Job Function:
The Magento 2 Front-End E-comm Specialist’s primary responsibility is to develop and provide overall technical solutions and rich user experiences leveraging the Magento Commerce platform for both B2C and B2B channels.
This person is expected to actively participate in various software development stages, including design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance.
Some daily roles could include owning best practices, running site promotions, updating product listings, and collaborating with marketing teams to drive traffic and web sales.
To be a fit, you should bring 3 years of eCommerce experience supporting corporate sites through Magento 2.
Responsibilities:
● Build mobile-first responsive web features with user experience (UI/UX) in mind
● Work within a team to develop new designs for landing pages and front-end enhancements
● Ensure optimal use of best practices, stay on top of extension updates
● Troubleshoot any front-end technical or performance issues that may arise
● Day-to-day Magento tasks including data updates, promotional integrations, coupon code building
● Help facilitate and plan M2 Security updates, patches, extensions, and more
● Support the development and maintenance of the company’s B2C and B2B eCommerce channels
● Analyze and optimize eCommerce presence, traffic, and performance
● Support e-Commerce customer service dept
● Build a reporting and analytics dashboard to help support incremental revenue growth and drive marketing decisions
Qualifications & Requirements:
This position requires an individual with the following skills/attributes:
● Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
● Minimum 3 years’ experience with Magento 2 eCommerce website management
● In depth understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3+
● Experience with both B2C and B2B channels
● Solid understanding of responsive design
● Knowledge of SEO and ADA best practices
● Working knowledge of Redmine for version control and ticket management
● Exceptional problem solving and debugging skills
● Ability to collaborate with designers and development team
● Ability to build performance reports (sales, new customers, growth)
● Experience running eCommerce promotions, ads, and campaigns
● Proficiency in Google Analytics and CRM platforms
● Experience with design or creative software preferred (Adobe Creative Suite)
● Experience with GA, GDS and GTM highly preferred
