The Job The WarnerMedia CSO Enterprise Identity and Access Management Services Team (IAM) Technical IAM Project Manager will provide project related technical guidance that may include some hands-on technical effort in WarnerMedia’s IAM platforms.
The IAM Technical Project Management will work closely with various technology and business teams to manage Identity related endeavors to gather requirements and support secure and robust systems responsible for serving all of WarnerMedia globally.
This includes Okta, Active Directory, Identity Federation (e.g.
SAML, OAuth), and Multi-factor Authentication.
The position’s initial focus will be to gather requirements for an IAM program or Proof-of-Concept.
As the requirements are defined, the Technical IAM PM will manage or participate in the implementation of the program.
A combination of technical acumen and creative thinking is necessary to address matters of identity implementation.
Unlike other security organizations, a consultative and collaborative mindset is of paramount importance.
While this position does not have formal staff management responsibilities, the Technical IAM Project Manager is expected to lead and mentor team members and those in other technical roles who are critical to the successful delivery of WarnerMedia’s holistic Information Security strategy.
The successful individual will own the delivery of the various facets of a reasonable IAM posture.
The Daily * Serve as technical project resource on IAM at WarnerMedia globally* Assist in the development and maintenance of IAM standards, policies and procedures as well as best practices documentation* Knowledge of Okta SSO and Okta MFA* Proficient in federated identity systems / technologies (e.g., Radiant Logic), virtualized directories, LDAP* In depth understanding of Identity LifeCycle Management, governance and administration* Participate in the recommendation of automation of processes and security controls which relate to IAM (e.g.
Provisioning, User Entitlement Reviews, etc.)* Assist in the evaluation of new IAM technologies against established requirements and validate the security of the technology* Translate security and technical requirements into business requirements, and communicate security risks to different audiences ranging from business leaders to engineers* Participate in working groups that tailor the company’s security policies and standards* Work in step with IAM engineers to assist in managing the design of technical solutions, which include creating prototypes and proofs of concept while maintaining a security mindset* Work closely with application developers and system administrators to provide information on creative solutions to complex technology challenges and business requirements* Stay current on emerging identity solutions, security threats, vulnerabilities and controls The Essentials * At least 5 years experience in information technology with a minimum 2 years in information security or identity management* Experience with Active Directory, including DHCP, DFS, DNS and WINS* Excellent knowledge of federated identity systems (Okta preferred)* Excellent knowledge of multi factor authentication (Okta Verify, RSA preferred)* Knowledge of Microsoft AD Integration with Microsoft O365 Cloud/Microsoft Azure Active Directory* Working knowledge of scripting technologies (Powershell and Jscript) preferred* Good understanding of the ITIL frameworks along with the incident, problem and change management processes and procedures* Willingness to take initiative and be creative to overcome obstacles to achieve personal, organizational, and company goals* Excellent time management, project management, and attention to detail is essential* Provide input to assist with continual improvement The Perks * Exclusive WarnerMedia events and advance screenings* Paid time off every year to volunteer for eligible employees* Access to well-being tools, resources, and freebies* Access to in-house learning and development resources* Part of the WarnerMedia family of powerhouse brands Warner Media, LLC and its subsidiaries are equal opportunity employers.
